Versusbrief vs AdKit
AdKit is an ad library and ad manager with an MCP for your agent. Versusbrief is a pitch builder: ads are one of six things it compares, next to the map pack, reviews, searches and site speed.
The short version
- Pick AdKit if you run the client’s ads yourself and want to track competitors’ creatives, clone winners and launch campaigns from Claude.
- Pick Versusbrief if you are trying to win the client first, and need a review of where they stand against local rivals that you can send before the meeting.
Side by side
| AdKit | Versusbrief | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Find winning ads, generate and clone ads, run Meta and Google campaigns | A client-ready review of a prospect against its local rivals |
| Competitor ads | Multi-platform ad library (Meta, Google, LinkedIn), competitor tracking and alerts | Google ads from Ads Transparency; Meta ads from the official Ad Library API, EU/UK only |
| Map pack, reviews, search rankings | Not listed on the pricing page | Yes, for the prospect and each rival |
| Writes to an ad account | Yes: connect your ad accounts and create campaigns from a prompt | Never. Draft ads come as a Google Ads Editor file you upload yourself |
| Your brand on the output | Not listed on the pricing page | Your agency’s name, colour and logo from Pro, $59/month |
| Pricing model | Flat monthly, unlimited usage: $29–49 for one project, $49–97 for unlimited projects, 7-day trial | Credits: a pitch is 60. Free plan 75 credits; Solo $29, Pro $59, Agency $119; overage off |
Where they overlap
Both show you a competitor’s live ads inside Claude. If that is all you need, AdKit goes deeper: more platforms, history and alerts. Versusbrief uses only official and commercial APIs, which is why its Meta coverage stops at ads delivered in the EU and UK. In the US, the review still shows Google ads and Local Services ads.
Where they don’t
An owner deciding whether to hire an agency rarely asks about ad creatives first. They ask why the business down the road gets more calls. Versusbrief answers that with the map pack, review count and pace, the searches the rival wins, mobile speed and tracking, then a 90-day plan built from those numbers. It never touches an ad account, so you can run it on anyone before they sign.
Try it on a real prospect
Send the website of a business you want to win. You get the review by email, usually within a few minutes, on the free plan. No card, no call.
